Thinking of studying at UTS next semester and need a place to stay? Well, UTS Housing could be your new home away from home.
All UTS residences are fully furnished, self-catered and managed by UTS. They are also within 12 or less minutes of walking distance from the main UTS Tower building. Choose to live in a share apartment or a studio apartment within one of the four UTS residences such as:
- Yura Mudang, located right above the Design, Architecture and Building Faculty, it is the largest residence with 720 bedrooms;
- Gumal Ngurang. It has 252 bedrooms and is close to restaurants and UTS Building 11 on Broadway,
- Bulga Ngurra has 119 bedrooms, is a five-minute walk from the UTS campus and close to the Broadway shopping center;
- And Geegal, a leafy townhouse style residence with 57 bedrooms.
But UTS Housing is more than just providing you with a bed. By booking a room with us, you become part of the diverse and multiculturally rich community that promotes social, academic and personal growth.
During your stay, you will have the opportunity to take part in a range of social and cultural events organized by our Res Life Team and also our Resident Networkers, student leaders living at UTS Housing, who will provide you with a support network while living away from home. It won’t be long before you make new friends from across the world and quickly feel at home.
UTS Housing also has an in-house Academic and Learning Officer who is there to assist you with your studies, assignments and who also organizes various learning and academic workshops.
